I’m a Design Girl, a formerly practicing architect, a student of the graphic arts, an advocate of confetti and sparkles, and I love to plan a good party. I am also a love story junkie, a semi-pro chocolate taster, and mother to three fur-kids (A Great Dane, a Jack Russell, and a Chihuahua.) Nothing makes me happier than planning a thoughtful event – and thats why I love the wedding and event industry. I currently live in Seward Park, Seattle with my handsome and hilarious husband, Nathan who is a glass artist. Together, we own 7 Point Studios – home to a collective of artists in SODO and an industrial creative space. Wonderstruck Event Design is my dream job – and combines all my favorite things – people, parties, and planning!
Planning and design have come pretty naturally to me all my life. I graduated from the University of Idaho School of Art and Architecture with a Masters Degree in Architecture and a minor in Graphic Design. Following my education, I moved to Seattle and spent several years working for major design firms as an architect and planner. There, I fine tuned my skills for project management and grew as a designer. After helping out several friends with their weddings, I realized that I had a real passion for weddings and special events. In the spring of 2013 I decided to make a full time job of my passions – and Wonderstruck LLC was born. Since that time, my staff and I have helped more than 50 couples plan, design, and party in style at their dream weddings.
On my rare days outside the studio, I enjoy traveling, spending time working on house projects, volunteering, and binging on the latest shows. Lately, I have become addicted to the Outlander Series – (the books are amazing!) What can I say, I’m a hopeless romantic.
So… what about you? What makes you tick? What do you love? What events are you dreaming about for your future? I’d love to find out! Send me an email here to schedule your complimentary consultation today.

Favorite Quote: “All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.” – Walt Disney
Planning and coordinating has always been my thing. Whether it’s planning a vacation, a family holiday party, or an over-the-top wedding, I thrive on making sure even the littlest details aren’t overlooked. Many people will call me a Disnerd (aka Disney Nerd), lover of all things s’mores, and enjoyer of wine and champagne (partial to sweet whites and the bubbles). I’m not yet married, but you better believe I’ve been planning my wedding since I was a child!
I graduated from Washington State University (Go Cougs!) with a Bachelor of Arts in Hospitality Business Management. Since graduating I have worked in three different hotels in Washington within their catering departments, specializing in weddings and events. Through those positions I was able to enhance my skills as a planner, while growing a network of close vendor relationships and strong customer loyalty. After awhile I realized the corporate world of hotels wasn’t really where I saw myself staying and pursued my truest passion of wedding and event planning! I approach every wedding I take on as if it were my own. When I get married one day I want my wedding to be perfect; why shouldn’t yours be as well?! I want to help you bring your visions to life and for you to have the best time on your big day with all the confidence that you can just relax and know you’re in the best hands.
In my spare time I love to:
- Veg out on the couch and unload the DVR (Scandal, Grey’s, Quantico, HTGAWM, Big Bang, Modern Family, Mountain Men, Duck Dynasty)
- Watch movies with my boyfriend
- Traveling and camping (Disneyland once a year!)
- Support the Sounders, Seahawks, and Cougars – via the TV or in person
- Spend time with family and friends
- Dream about being on the Amazing Race…seriously, I could win that show…and America’s heart 😉
