We think it is very important for every bride and every groom to know that your processional song does NOT have to be the Bridal Chorus by Wagner. In fact, you don’t even have to have a traditional processional. However, if you want to walk down that aisle, and you don’t want people to be humming “Here comes the bride,” then know there are a lot of great choices out there and today we are providing you with nine great songs that should give you plenty of inspiration.
These examples are all modern selections. Next week, we are going to bring some great examples of traditional and classical music selections that can be used in your processional.
Your processional song can be just as important to you as your first dance song is, so put some thought into who you are as a couple and what songs might celebrate your union. Make your song fit with the rest of your ceremony. Some couples choose to have instrumental and some choose to keep the lyrics. It’s totally up to you! Make it a song you both love and don’t be afraid to have fun with it.
