Erin Sullivan & Michael Lombardi at SODO Park, Seattle on 7.18.15
Timeless hues of champagne and charcoal give Erin and Michael’s storybook day a classic feel. Accents in eggplant and satin contrast an array of glass vases and silver mercury glass votives of the centerpieces. Guests dine, seated on fruitwood chaivari chairs in the round with champagne linens, and dance the night away under glowing string lights. Congrats to these two, the Wonderstruck team is honored to have been a part of every moment of merriment!

Kayla Hagan and Ryan Ragona at 1927 Events, Seattle on 9.20.14
For Kayla and Ryan, we went right for the bright and cheerful red, orange and coral hues to match the vibrant love these two share. For a “fun and sophisticated” look, we pulled together petite and punchy floral arrangements, an assortment of vintage glass vases and paper wall dressings. We couldn’t be more happy for these two love birds, they make love fun!

An Alaskan Mountain Wedding 6.23.2013
Congratulations to Kelly and Lyle Haugsven who tied the knot on June 23, 2013 at the Crow Creek Mine in breathtaking Girdwood, Alaska. The bride and groom, a nurse and a fire-fighter by profession, are both avid outdoor lovers. The couple met while training in an avalanche preparedness course in the mountains, making the mountains a natural choice for their perfect wedding venue. Kelly and Lyle both grew up in Alaska, but currently make their home in Seattle. These festivities were highlighted by yellow and lavender wildflowers from Oopsie Daisy, rustic lace and burlap details made by the mother of the bride, and a spectacular panorama backdrop of the Chugach Mountain Range – all lit beneath the glow of the midnight sun. No need for lamps or decorative lighting at this soiree because the sun was still shining at 11pm! The bride looked stunning in a lace covered sweetheart gown from David’s Bridal, and a custom hairpiece I was thrilled to make for the occasion. I was also fortunate to have the opportunity to create a one of a kind vintage ski guest book for the couple – which was a hit with guests at the reception. During the ceremony, the couple read personally written vows to one another in front of eighty of their closest friends and family – such a sweet moment. During the reception, the guests dined on a delicious BBQ buffet and homemade berry pies and danced for hours to the beats of DJ Shaun LaRose. I am so happy to have played a small role in their wedding day and I wish them a lifetime of happiness together.
